♥ Baking...

Yesterday was an okay day. I baked my 6 loaves of bread and some rolls for dinner. So now I won't have to bake bread again for at least 3 weeks. Last night was Potato Soup night. It's been so cold here that soup sounded really good. But I'm not a real big fan of soups in general! I have a couple that I like and then I pretty much don't detour from those.

Emma is better and back at school. It was the strangest 24 hour bug ever. I'm still hoping that the other kids don't get it. Lane got his staples out yesterday and did a great job. He thought the little staple remover was pretty cool looking.

And lastly I decided to take the quilt that I've been working on and divide it up into 2 quilts. One for Eliza's bed and one for Emma's bed. I thought it would be really cute on their bunk beds. But I found that I needed to come up with 2 more quilt blocks.

Rachel had to do an extra one too so I decided to copy her's. I love it! However I had to cut out 100 of those little brown squares and then 80 of the little pink one's the same size! The cutting out wasn't even the part that really sucked it was having to iron them ALLLLL. Every time I put two of them together I'd have to iron. Then to put all 4 together and then iron! SOOO MUCH IRONING...

So after that I decided to do an EASY block and it was easy! I finished all 5 of those in about 1 - 1/2 hours! SO MUCH BETTER!!!

That is awesome that you make your own bread. Is that what you use for sandwiches too? I am so impressed. Your quilt looks awesome.

Nice job! Did I ever tell you that quilting skips a generation in my family?

That bread looks Heavenly! Do you have a Bosch or are you an old fashioned girl?

I LOVE the new blocks! I can hardly wait to see them finished up!

Hey, Hey! I had a brilliant idea today! Why don't we do a pattern exchange or a purse exchange? I have the pattern for one that you showed in your purse fettish post! Tempting?
