I got this from Crazymamaof6 and then saw it on Misty's blog a while ago SOOO since I'm having blogger's block I'm gonna do it! I used to put a ton more stuff in my purse. Seriously it would give me a back ache after a while. My mom used to say it was my travel along file cabinet. Now it's not as bad and I don't carry as big of a purse anymore either. So here it goes... This before I cleaned it out... My little coupon folder thingy, Important papers, sunglasses (a must) and regular glasses... 
keys, corner cutter, jewels, exacto knife (all for scrapbooking, I put them in there so I would remember to put them w/my stuff and now they are put away!) Gotta have a sharpie and extra pen, chap stick (mostly for the kids), lip gloss, tweezers (gotta have), clippers and powder! 
My wallet, checkbook, Tylenol extra strength (just in case, if I can head off a migraine in the beginning life is SOOO much easier), Visine, GermX, gum & a hair thing or two 
Bunches of receipts... 
Then after cleaning and de-cluttering it, this is what's left. Things that I can't live without!

you are pretty organized. and i have load of receipts too! what do you do with yours when you are done clearing out your purse?
i purge the ones i don't need and then save the rest in a ziploc baggie. ridiculous but i can usually find one if i need it later

Ugh! I was supposed to do this forever ago. You just reminded me! Boy, you fit a lot of stuff in there. I have a very similar stack of receipts. It goes along with my gum wrappers. . .

because of two little ones I have the cute small backpack type purse, which I just took most everything out of the other day. then I do have a nice black leather purse for when and if I need to not look so mommyish. Which my sister, grandma and I went to SLC in Dec to celebrate my G's bday and I forgot my grown up purse so alot of good it does me.
Cool post! I have the same coupon thingy in my purse also!!!I just bought a litle photo album at Target and I put all my coupons in there so I actually have them with me when I'm shopping.
