♥ The infamous cupboard, hair-do's & almost clean rooms!

This is the cupboard that Lane likes to get into and make a mess of! With it being a corner cabinet I only had to put one little clasp type child lock and it was good too go! No more little grubby hands getting into my stuff! :)

Yesterday I did the girls hair like JENN's Friday tutorial!!! Thanks Jenn!!! I really need to buy some of the little rubber bands but still haven't so it looks a little tacky with the big ones! Here's Livvy...

Eliza's...

The two girls together just before we headed off to church!

Latree wanted a picture of the "clean" rooms... Emma & Eliza's room... Looks like they need to get a couple of things from under the bed still... I'm just glad I can walk in their room. Before I had to make a path just to get to their bed! Emma's dresser is in the background... She helped me paint it a couple of years ago!

Lane & Olivia's room. I need to vacuum AGAIN! Lane snuck some cereal in there this morning! When Emma was a baby I painted her dresser (now Olivia's) it's time for a re paint. :)

Here's Eliza doing her "singing" Article of Faith... This is her favorite one! Number 6... She starts slurring her words together at the end but she's saying....

We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.

This one is Emma doing the 13th one and you can hear Eliza copying her in the back ground. Eliza's likes to do this one too. It cracks me up listening to her spout off all the big words!

The 13th one is... We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

I am always impressed with how fast you get the hair tutorials tried out. I will try this soon. I have no excuse because you always do it on all three of your girls.

I love clean bedrooms. Good job on locking that cabinet. If I could just find all the things they were going to get into and lock them up life would be good. I should start by locking them out of my room again! You have got me all fired up to try that.

Okay this is serious... I totally feel like sometimes I don't do enough of the church teaching and stuff. I grew up in an unactive family. We were sealed in the temple when I was 11, but most of my family fell away from the church shortly after. Growing up we didn't do any of that church stuff. And I DESPERATLY want my kids to have a strong firm foundation and testimony in the church. So WHEN did your kids start learning there articles of faith? IS my 5 (almost 6) year old too little or should I be working on it with him?

And BTW they did a great job! Smart gals!

Know anyone who's doing interesting hair tutorials for boys?! :)

The kids look so happy in their clean rooms! My kids' rooms look clean on the outside, but their drawers and closets are in some serious need of purging. Thanks for leading the way!

Very cute family. Nail the cupboard shut - that should take care of it.

♥ I don't have them all memorized either. It was really bad when they started... I had to cheat! Still do for several of them. Emma is the one who catches the mistakes for the other kids now well her and Joe...
