Why we do/don't have food storage!

Have you ever wanted to bang your head against a wall? I'm there right now. I know I probably sound ungrateful at this point but seriously I'm beyond irritated. I went downstairs to check on the kids and this is what I found.
It's not exactly what I found but close enough. I found all of these bottles ALL over Emma floor. Scattered everywhere and obviously EMPTY! I know it could be worse but they've been naughty today and I've had it so this was just the last straw. I'm just glad that it's almost nap time.
So why do we even have food storage well the answer is... So the kids can dump it out all over the floor. This isn't the first time we've had them break into the water bottles. They've also gotten into krustez pancake mix, wheat and macaroni & cheese, other noodles and taken all of the paper off of our cans. I now mark the cans "just in case". I can't fit everything in the locked cabinets so I have the cans out and the bottled water up high. The only problem is that they climb!!! Next house we get WILL have a garage! And in the mean time the kids are in time out STILL. I figure it's safer for them there at least for the time being. How long is too long. 1 year, 2 years?

Sounds like yet more fun at your house.. I guess for me having a house without a basement/stairs has it's perks. The kids can't get into anything withous me hearing them. Hopefully yours will take a time out from stressing you out so much.

Two words. Serenity Now!! It doesn't help much but it makes me laugh just thinking about that Seinfeld episode.

They dumped out all that water? I'm truely cringing.......because I understand what you are going through, and dread what I have to look forward to.

oh, I'm sorry about that. That would be frustrating! It sounds like you handle it way better than I would.
