Emma was entertaining herself with play dough that she got trick or treating. She is grounded for telling lies. It drives me CRAZY! I gave her 10 times to tell me the truth and the last time she finally fessed up. Lane & Eliza both told me the exact same thing that she did. So I knew she did it I just had to get her to admit it. What's that thing about 2 or 3 witnesses. Just kidding but really ahhhh! Anyway she is grounded from the TV & Computer for a week. She's very upset. To make things worse when I was shopping at Safeway the Red Box had Meet the Robinson's so I got it and she can't watch it. She is having a very hard time with that one. I felt bad for 1/2 a second after I had gotten home and remembered that she was grounded. Then I figured maybe this would hit home and she'll quit lying. She's done soooooo good lately. The last time she got in big trouble for lying was 2 or more months ago. Oh well, what are you going to do? I thought that her little girl was sooo cute and she did a great job on it...
I finished another shirt for Emma. I think I like the black one better or maybe it's the silly way she's standing, I'm not sure.
This is Lane begging for candy from his trick or treat bag. He's trying the oh I'm so cute look! And lastly I finished my last purse at least for a while. I like it but it's a little busy and I definitely like the first one's fabric better but it'll be fun for spring and if I get to where I really don't like it then Em will gladly take it over I'm sure.

I love how the purse ties at the top. Looks very whimsical. My 3 year old likes to tell stories and he's too young to ground for lying, but I have to find a way to teach him that it is not OK to make things up......
Eliza is 3 also and she tells stories too. I don't know what to do either! She'll just go on and on and on... Good heavens and 1/2 of it is just blah blah blah... I have no clue what she is saying. We ask her one question and she goes on like there is no tomorrow but her twin we ask him a question and it's a fast short honest answer! Like this afternoon we asked her what she was doing in the bathroom and she went into great detail about the exact thing she was doing and then later Lane was in there taking a little to long so I asked him what he was doing and it was short and quick puttin my pants on. Is it just girls. They like to hear themselves talk? Dang!
Cute shirt and purse.
As for lying, we've got the same thing going on. Thankfully, for some reason Hope loves to tattle on herself, so that makes things easier.
This raising kids stuff isn't for sissies.
Lane and Olivia are my tattler's right now. Which has actually come in handy because it seems like Eliza is being naughty quite frequently lately.
Kids! Good luck with all that. My kids just watched Meet the Robinsons today and the boys are outside right now earning the new Spiderman 3 dvd.... I love to see working kids. It's a good thing.

I hate the lying phase. Some are worse than others though. Micah is our storyteller. I finally had to start asking if this is real or fantasy. He is catching on. Now when I think he is lying to me I can ask is this real or fantasy and he has been pretty good about deciding the difference. Elena on the other hand can look you straight in the face and lie to you so well that you question your very exisitance. But she is old enough to be grounded, IF you catch her in the lie. Alisha
