This weekend we had a Super Saturday. For those that don't know what that is... It's when a bunch of women get together and we do a bunch of fun crafts, talk and have a fun time. My in-laws were here this weekend also so my mother-in-law got to come with me. It was so MUCH fun. The best part was no kids getting into stuff! :) The first thing that we did was etched our names in our Pyrex dishes. So when we got to a potluck or take a dinner to someone that needs it, we get our dishes back and we don't have to write our names on them with permanent marker to just have is wash off... This is the first one I did a couple of years ago. Pretty much a plain jane one!
This time since I knew what was going on and how to do it. I decided to print out my name using my own font. So I chose 2 different ones that I LOVE!
This one is my favorite. It just looks so FUN! :)
Then we beaded some ornaments. I wasn't sure if I was even going to do this one but decided at the last minute to give it a try.
At first I was just going to do one but then thought that if I wired two together and used it as my star for my Christmas tree, might be kind of cool. We'll see when I get the tree up after Thanksgiving... Anything is better than what I have right now...
Then we did some vinyl lettering on tile. I love the sayings on them and they look really nice. Now I need to find a stand to put mine on! That should be nearly impossible in this little town. So will probably have to wait until I go somewhere bigger!

Very cool! Sounds like you guys had a fun weekend.
your pyrex turned out good! Wasn't that a neat thing to learn. you'll have to try out the tile pictures! I love your new header for your blog. That looks so nice!
I've done the tile pictures before. I bought one a long time ago that I love and found out that you can actually make them. So I made a bunch of them. I kept 2 and made 4. Oh and my mother in law gave me one of the Seattle Temple since that's where we were married... Maybe I'll do a post latter and put them on! :)
I have one of those cake pans with my name on it. I love it (my sister in law made them at her SS a few years ago).
I love your bead ornaments. I would love to know what kind of wire you guys used!
Love the glass etching on your pyrex dishes, the vinyl sayings AND the ornaments. I was totally underwhelmed when I saw what my ward had to offer for their super saturday. I couldnt' bring myself to even sign up for ONE!
The wire was from the craft warehouse and it was already completely together in the star look.
I understand the underwhelmend part this is the first one they've done in YEARS!!!
Those are all pretty cool. We are having our Soup or Saturday this weekend I think {I hope it is next weekend} We are doing crafts and classes and having soup.
Love your craft pictures. Would you mind if I used one on our gallery? Thanks so much. wallwordsbydesign@gmail.com
Can you tell me what did you use and how you did the etching on your glass pyrex dishes??? I'd soooo appreciate it!
Thanks
