I love to dress the kids up for Halloween but I hate the actual trick or treating part. I'm so glad that it's over! The kids had a blast. We went to our ward trunk or treat last night and they had a carnival type activity just before it. The kids did a ton of the activities and had a blast doing them. This is Olivia she was Dothie as she says or rather Dorothy. I made some red glitter shoes for her but she had an owie on her heal so opted to wear more comfortable ones instead. There was a wig that came with the costume but she didn't like wearing it so we just braid her own hair. Although Joe wore it at home for a couple of mintues and I did get a picture of him but he'd kill me if ever posted it on here!!! As I look at this picture I'm just realizing how long her bangs actually are. I guess it's time to give them a little snip snip.
This is Lane. He is a pangin or rather a penguin. He was the warmest of all the kids. It was actually a great weather for Halloween here. Usually it's freezing cold, windy and raining. So to have a Halloween that was nice was a little unusual.
Eliza is our little ham I mean Tinker Bell. She loves her costume and was so excited when she won a magic wand at the carnival. She said it was her tinker bell wand. I wonder how long it's been since she's watched Peter Pan??? The biggest challenge with her was trying to get her to keep her netting skirt at the waist line of the dress. She likes to put everything well below her belly button.
Emma was a ballerina again! She's been one for 3 years in a row. She wanted me to make her a costume but I have not been in the sewing mood until just a week ago and I'm not into the pressure type sewing so we went with the good old standby. Next year she gets to pick something else out. Hopefully it's simple!
Lastly, chaos! Trying to get all 4 of them to look at the camera at the same time is nearly impossible. So this will have to do!

Cute pics!! That is one nice thing about having one little one I only need to worry about her looking at the camera.
What did you dress up as? Or like every mommy did you go as a 'tired mommy?' I know I sure did!!
mk
Yeah pretty much just the tired mommy. I'm not into dressing up. Joe actully dressed up this year. He was a nurse not much of a stretch since he's in his senior year of nursing school! :)
Oh they all look cute! I think the Dorothy costume is my favorite! So glad you got those on sale last year! Sounds like they all had fun at the church. Sorry I missed it.... No, no I'm not LOL :)!
Super cute costumes. I'm a sucker for Dorothy's. Love them every time! :)
Melissa,
I need help. I bought and downloaded a bundle of blog headers from the company you suggested but I can't do anything with them. I don't think I have the program to work with it......any suggestions?
Olivia looks so cute and sweet and Eliza...she looks like a little stinker. hahah
I've never bought anything from them, I'm tooo cheap. I have Creative Keepsakes program for digital scrapbooking and then save it as a pdf and then copy & paste it to paint that way I can save it as a jpg and then post it as my header. I don't know if you have any digital scrapbooking programs??? But they should work on those! Do you have one???? I can walk you through if you have a dig scrapbook program!!!
No, I don't have any digital scrapbooking programs. I feel like a real idiot now. Any chance you want to insert my picture and words and in exchange I'll give you 3 of the borders, only keeping one for myself? I only have like 36 more hours to download. I don't know how time consuming it is to insert those things, so if what I'm asking is a ton of work, I don't even know it and I apologize........my email is jagelees@yahoo.com if your interested, but I COMPLETELY understand if you're not........:)
