I've been sewing since 1:00 pm to now which is 1:00 am. Okay not really that whole time. I took a break to cook dinner at around 5:00ish and didn't start back up until about 9:00ish. We got kids to bed and then I had to run to Walmart and pick up some more interfacing and of course milk. We go through about 5 gallons of milk a week. It's INSANE! But I'd rather pay for the milk now and have kids with strong bones and not have to pay for broken bones when they're older. So I bite my tongue and keep buying milk. I must say that there is NO wasting milk here either... Kid's get in big trouble for wasting it. I mean good grief it's like 4 bucks a gallon for the good stuff. Not that I buy that because that would be 20 bucks a week just in milk. I get the cheap Walmart brand for $2.57 and so far they're the only ones that haven't raised their prices lately, knock on wood. Okay I've totally digressed the reason for my post was to talk about my sewing!
I realized tonight that I make weird faces when I'm concentrating. I've never paid attention to this before, usually I have a movie going or music or something but J was doing homework so he needed some quiet and all I had to do was think. So not a good thing especially for 4 hours. Now I wonder if I only make these weird faces when I'm sewing or is it EVERY TIME I'm concentrating no matter what I'm doing? I really hope not. I know of some family member's that stick their tongue out when concentrating my issue happens to be that I push my lips out and move them around. Especially when I'm turning the fabric under the machine to go around a corner... Like I said 4 hours of thinking is way to much!!! This evening when I started back up I put my ear phones on and watched a movie on our little DVD player. Much Much Better.
My sister called and said she was doing a table at the craft bazaar in their town and if I wanted to put anything on it, then I could. Such a good sister. So I made some more purses and I thought maybe I'd make some cards if I can figure out something cute to do. Here are some pictures of the completed purses. And Thanks again Gayle.

I love love love this one. I might have to make one for myself! I can almost do them blindfolded now. They're so easy to make and are so fun to carry around. :)
I'm off to bed. I'm sure the kids will be up early like usual and will be ready to wreak havoc on the world!

Very cool!! I like that blue one, too. I figured you'd say you were up sewing pj's.
I was laughing about you making faces. I sat here doing what you were describing and I found out that not only do I make the same faces I do it when I concentrate, too.
I'm beginning to think we might have been separated at birth ;)
The purses turned out so well......
Those turned out cute! Man you have been busy... Go to 2peas for some card ideas, everyone is posting their cards right now and there are some really cute ones out there.
:)R
Oh, good idea. I always forget about that! Thanks!
Cute purses! Tis the sewing season. I lost a little of my mojo and I have all mine cut out but not a single stitch yet.
I think the WORST part is cutting everything out. I still need to cut out jammie's for the kids... And I still have a quilt that I need to do. I've had it made forever but I need to just add the batting and the backing and I'll be done. Pretty sad that it's taken 2 years...
you surely have an amazing talent in this. until tow years ago (before I got a job) I do much sewing. but it's never been as beautiful as yours!
you cook, yu bake, you sew, you make cards
I wish I can learn scrapbooking from you. It seems intersting
My mom taught me to sew when I was pretty young and then I didn't do much with it until after I had my 1st daughter and then I was always calling my mom for help until I got better at it. I still have so much to learn. My biggest downfall is that I'm impatient.
I love the fabric on that last purse. I bet those will sell! You should start selling them on e-bay!
that's funny about making faces. I know I look retarded when I watch a movie and it's intense..or when I'm working hard on something. I was just picturing you concentrating...hahahhah that's so funny.
I think your purses look great! If only I knew how to sew...
