Errrr... it was a pretty good day today... I got 6 big loaves of bread made! They turned out better than I've even had them. Usually they're a little dense and finally I've gotten a good batch nice and light and big enough to make a real sandwich out of...

I big batch of homemade chili made and cornbread muffins. Dishes are done yippee and I even hand washed "GASP" the large pots just so everything was done. Then the kids watch a short movie and it's time to brush teeth. The kids freak out and finally I get them to do it. Eliza goes into my bathroom to do her business and decides for whatever reason that it would be "FUN" to dump a load of water all over my keyboard! So we'll see if it still works after it's dried off. Seriously what the heck!!! Now she's crying and mad because she got a spanking and mostly because she didn't get to brush her teeth! Heaven forbid life is over if you don't get to brush you teeth and usually I'm the Tooth Brushing Nazi but errr.... Olivia just yelled, "Mom, she's waking me up!" and then "Stop!!! You're bugging me off!" I think she meant "ticking me off"... So is it just our house that the kids act up way worse when their dad is gone? Well I guess I better get my 10 loads of laundry and fold them! (not really 10 although it feels like it... more like 6)

Ok, you are the 2nd blog I've read tonight where bread has been made...and my mouth is watering!!! Great job!!
And I agree completely that the kids freak out when Dad is gone!! My hubby used to travel a lot...like a week at a time. By day 3, it was over. It got ugly!
turn your keyboard upside down for a day or two. My mom (i didn try this) but said you can even put it in the dishwasher. ??? ALso I use to spill diet coke all over my key board at work all the time and it always worked the next day. BELIEVE ME I did it alot. hehe
Sorry they are being naughty. B&K are yelling, I want Kyler I want Kyler, I want Kyler to read me a book from their beds. hehe
Bummer. But Go YOU for the bread, dishes, laundry, and Dinner! YOU ROCK!
I am lovin' your friends! I want to be Bridget and Rachel's new best friend! I must have spent a couple of hours getting ideas for all my new projects! Bitty's birthday is in Feb and she is getting an All-Bridget Birthday! Heeheehee! (Cupcake purse, doll face bag, apron dress and anything else I can finish in time!) Thanks for the link!
Um. If you could let her know I'm not a psycho stalker it would probably be good. I left gushing comments :D
Yay for all the cooking! Way to go!
Sorry about your keyboard!
My, my...Mrs. Domestication! I am impressed! Oh, and btw, my son acts better when his father is not home...go figure! Send some chili and homemade bread my way...because you know I'm not motiviated enough to cook it for myself! Have a great day. I hope the kiddos are in a better "mood" today!
Wow your bread looks so YUMMY! Maybe I should make some today. Hmmm. I totally relate with the kid thing. When Dave isn't here, he works the jail at nights sometimes, the kids are the WORST. Caleb threw a 2 hour fit two nights ago because I wouldn't pick up his stuff for him again and put it back on his bed after he kicked it off.
I want a slice of that bread- yummmm! And now I am off to do at least 10 loads of laundry too!! If you survived I can too.
I could do with a slice of bread and some butter right now...or peanut butter...or peanut butter and jelly. I must be HUNGRY!
your bread looks heavenly! WOW! impressive.
way to go on dinner and dishes too. i bow down.
bummer about the watery keyboard.
and the fit.
Baking bread is seriously a talent I don't have. Your loaves turned out BEAUTIFUL!
wow... I'm full just by looking at it...
*no wonder I'm always thin :P*
That bread looks good! I miss homemade bread. I haven't made any since Jack came along.
How frustrating with your keyboard. I wonder what she was thinking. Was she curious or out to make you upset?
