Lane asks me what time it is a lot through out the day. I'd say at least 10 times a day give or take. Today all the kids were being naughty and wouldn't take naps. They kept getting up to use the bathroom or whatever excuse they could come up with. One of the times Lane came out he asked what time it was so I told him and he says, "What does that mean?" So I told him that it meant that it was BEDTIME and to get back in bed! Lane finally decides that he's been in his room long enough. He comes out and looks at the clock (it's 2:45pm) he puts his arms out just like the clock and asks, "Mom, what does this mean?" I tell him that it's 2:45. He asks if that means that he can get up? I give up at least they sort of stayed in their room for a couple of hours so I told him he could go play with the girls since he informed me that they were just up playing anyway! I wished I would have had my camera when he put his arms out like the clock it was so dang cute!!!

So funny! I sometimes wish I could bottle up the cute things my kid does and save it for when he is all grown up... I guess that is why I blog.
you know your really lucky that they still take naps. You know that right?
I can just imagine him doing that, so sweet. I bet he will catch on to telling time quickly
Gosh... I wish I could send mine to bed for nap time! They would look at me like I was crazy… boy do I miss that time to myself!
