Eliza started out coughing but you know that! Then Olivia, Lane and Emma is a little... I gave each of the kids a cold medicine strip thinking it would be less messy and easier. Eliza had one this afternoon so she could nap well and did fine with it. I gave one to Eliza again tonight and then it was Lane's turn, they did fine with it then I gave Olivia hers. She was a little hesitant to take it and when I finally got her too, she threw it up in my hands (I couldn't help it reflexes I guess), on the chair, carpet and my clothes! So much for less messy and easier! Then Lane puked which I think was just a sympathy puke but who knows. Sooooo her face was looking a little flushed. I took her temp and it was 101.3 so it wasn't way bad but bad enough that she isn't feeling very good... So I attempted to give her some children's Motrin. I had a bowl right there just in case she decided to throw that up too. Luckily she kept it down which I'm glad for since she really needed that. Hopefully that will help. Now I'm smelling puke no matter where I go, I had to scrub my hands with stinky soap just to get the smell gone! BLECH.... I checked all of the other kids while I was at it just to make sure no one else had a fever and they're all good so hopefully it'll stay that way! I really thought we were going to get away without getting sick this winter, dang it. At least it's not the flu or big time puking! I think Olivia's was just a gag reflex thing... Oh the JOY!!!

sympathy puke. hehe. Hope they feel better soon. I hate it when you get throwup up your nose (or so it seems, thats all you can smell)

I hate it when children get sick . . . they are just not themselves. And you, their mommy, are not yourself either.
J had a low grade fever (teething) and mommy spent most of the night and morning in a restless "sleep" . . . checking on him nearly every hour.
Ugh . . . this mommyhood thing.
I HATE having sick kids! Hopefully they get rid of it soon, and hopefully it doesn't catch up to you, thats the one thing that is worse than sick kids, thats YOU being sick!
Poor kiddos and mommy!! My kids gag easy too. X-rays at the dentist are the worst. Hope they get feeling better really soon!
