Digital Scrapbooking...

I finished my first Digital Scrapbook page. It's actually for a cook book I signed up for. It was actually really fun. It's hard to read in this picture but hopefully if it was printed it would be easier to read. One nice thing about doing it digitally is you never run out of material but the down fall I think would be the expense of having them printed off and you don't have the 3 dimensional aspects of regular scrapbooking. So I'm sticking with the hands on paper for now. But it was fun to give this a try!

***EDITED*** Okay I finished it!

In response to some comments... I'm not sure what the price is for copies here but if they are 39 cents then I could totally handle that. It would be much cheaper. I agree with the recipe book being flat that would be A OK. I'm not sure where to get it printed around here? I read Sherelle Christensen's blog and she was doing a recipe book exchange, where everyone that's interested submits 2 recipe's and then she sends everyone ALL of the recipe's. Last time I checked there were 45 of us... But for this one it's closed to any more people right now but she said something about maybe doing another one some day... I actually got all of the stuff for both of these pages for FREE!!! The web site is Shabby Princess. They have some really cute stuff. It's also the stuff that I used for my new Blog Title! Have fun browsing they have great stuff. And the best part is that it's FREE!!! :) Oh and I use Creative Keepsakes Digital Software, however it's an old one. I'd love to get a new version or find out what a really good program to use would be? I'm sure there is a better program than what I have right now.

That's so cool! Your page turned out great! Is digital scrapbooking expensive in comparison to hands on scrapbooking? Digital sounds nice. I wouldn't have to have a big ol set up and table for all my supplies.

Are you making your own recipe book are just contributing to one with a bunch of other people?

How do you store your files? I know Staples does color copies for 39 cents. For a recipe book it might be nice to not be 3-d because I don't know about your cookbooks, but mine are a mess regardless of how careful I am! Alisha

I like that Shabbi Princess site. That's where I got my wallpaper from for my blog. My friend has PhotoShop and loves it. It's spendy though. My dad has a program, I forgot the name of it, but it does neat stuff and it's alot cheaper than photoshop. Your pages look nice! I love the new title to your blog too! It's fun to change it up once in a while.

You did such a good job! Very Cute!
I had signed up to do the recipe swap but backed out as I thought we would have more time... And with the baby coming.. Maybe next time.
Glad you got your layouts done. Way to go!
