Halloween Decoration

We had enrichment on Thursday and we made these cute little BOO things I don't even know what you would call them. They're made out of felt and then you stuff them. The original had pom poms for the eyes and nose but I decided to spice it up a bit and stitch my faces on. I really like the way they turned out although I didn't do a very good job keeping the eyes and both sides of the mouth the same size. Oh well I guess it gives it a little character. It's relatively inexpensive also. Felt was 1.40 and then stuffing. I just used ribbon out of my stash and embroidery thread I had laying around. Anyway a cute idea for an inexpensive Halloween decoration.

The original cat didn't have ears but Emma thought that they should so she drew them on my pattern and said that it should look like this. I was just going to do a /\ thing but she wanted it filled in. So I filled it in and I think it turned out cute.

This is my lopsided ghost mouth and 2 different sized eyes. Oh well I guess it could be worse.

Fun! I was wondering how yours turned out. That was a good idea to stich the face. I just finished mine last night. I'll post it too in a day or so. I ended up using the eyes off my spider socks from my mom and glued them to my cat's face. ( The eyes had fallen off my socks.)
I like the cat ears too. turned out cute!

Oh those are cute! But I'm still glad I stayed home. I really don't need to hear from people... Are you still pregnant?????
Great job.. May have to ask around for the pattern to make one. I like the stiched faces myself...

I probably shouldn't be doing anything. My house is a mess... I need to be better at it and I do good for a little while then I get to lax and then have to start over it's like a never ending cycle. I hate cleaning...

These are WAY cute! Thanks for sharing. They look super easy, too.

Oh yeah beyond easy! No turning inside out or anything. The stuffing is the most "difficult". And even that wasn't so bad just a little creative shoving and it was good. :) I do have pattern also if anyone is interested...
