We're in Montana. We'll be here for about a week in hopes of finding a home! It was a crazy long drive. We woke up at about 4:00 am on Monday morning and were out of the house by 5:30. We drove FOREVER... getting to MT around 9:30 at night. We got to the hotel and we all crashed after a few slap happy moments. My Dad and Alisha drove the HONKIN Uhaul. My sister Gayle drove her pickup with our boat on it and I drove my van with Eliza. We were all OUT with in minutes of laying down we were so tired but we made it! On Tuesday morning my family left MT and headed back home. They went 1/2 way and then this morning they finished up the rest of their drive and probably are still driving the rest of the way. Tuesday there was a big time wind storm which would have been horrible with the huge uhaul so we were all very thankful that we changed our minds and decided to drive up on Monday instead of Tuesday. So here's how the last week has gone... Friday Joe's dad was up on the roof sweeping it off and he had Land & Eliza helping him...
I asked them if they were scared and they both said, "NO". They were having so much fun. They did really well with sitting down most of the time...
Livvy was rather jealous that they were up there and she wasn't. She started to climb the ladder. I couldn't get her to come down so I sent Joe up to be with her. She was having a blast but she still wanted to get all the way up.
Saturday at around 3:00 we all met over at the storage unit and by ALL I mean Joe's dad, Rachel's husband Lloyd, Gail's husband David and myself. Oh and Jentry and Parker. I felt so bad! We still kicked butt, but it took 3 hours at the storage unit. When we were done there I went and got pizza and then we went back to the house and cooked it all up and Rachel, her kids, Gail and their baby came over! Around 7:00 we had our home teacher come over thanks to Rachel's friendly call. FRESH MEAT!!! He helped the other guys get the big appliances that were still in the house and then helped get Joe's stuff from the shed all loaded up. Everything was finally done at 9:00 PM!!! It took forever!!! I'm so grateful to everyone for ALL of their help. Here's Rachel's kids Jentry, Corbin & Brinley hanging out with the guys!
Still working on loading up!
And finally the house without all the CRAP in it! This is the front room looking in from the front door. The carpet still hasen't been cleaned at this point so don't look too close! (They're now clean and my Dad, Alisha & Gayle say that it looks nice. So yay they did a good job! )
The front room looking at it from the back. (the last little bit to grab as we walk out the door)
Lane & Olivia's room.
Nasty stain is GONE!
The kitchen! My Dad urethane the window so it now matches the cabinets and looks really nice! Thanks DAD! Can you see my nice clean freshly painted moldings?
Painting the cabinets makes the kitchen so much BRIGHTER!!! Alisha mopped the floor again for me! THANKS Alisha!
The laundry room. No more washer & dryer. Alisha helped me paint this room and the stairs! It would have taken me SOOO long to do myself! Another big THANKS!!!
This is the stairs! If you look at the post below this one you can see what the laundry room & stairs looked like before!
Joe's dad redid the caulking in the bathrooms and waxed the floors but I didn't get pictures of those. My dad put the hardware on the screen doors. We were in a hurry to get out of the house on Monday morning and I forgot. Everything looks so nice!!! I'm so grateful for LARRY, my DAD, ALISHA & GAYLE for ALLL of your help!!! And for Lloyd, David & Tim and to their families for letting them take the time to help us out! We had 4 guys show up to help us unload here in MT plus Joe's brother. They finished in just over an hour. It was great and everything went really well. We had one cabinet that bit the dust and then some of Joe's oil stuff for his leather leaked. Other than that everything made it in great shape! I took some pictures of the hotel that we're staying at! We're paying 50 dollars a night so I was a little nervous about it and thought it might be a flea infested unit. However it's REALLY nice! I walked in and was practically giddy! This is the desk area!
The bathroom... I never thought I'd like to see purple in a house but I really like it!
I really like the square top of the toilet and sink too!
This is the kitchen!
The front room!
bedroom... They central air conditioning too. It's so nice and cool in here compared to the hot 90 plus degrees out side. Liza is taking a nap. She's so worn out for the drive and everything else. I kept her up all day yesterday while I was talking to the Realtor here...
I guess that's about it! We got an offer on our house so we're dealing with that right now and we'll see what happens from here. I'm going to try and catch up on blogs but I seriously have over 200 posts so we'll see how long that takes me!

YOU GOT AN OFFER. Wow, holy cow. Its because its practically a brand new home with the exception of when it was actually built. Ok, I cant remember everything I wanted to say (I should take notes on long posts) I did love the entire post, I was so excited all the way threw. great job on your old house, cool motel for 50 bucks and I CANT BELIEVE YOUR KIDS WERE ON THE ROOF.
