Holy cow!!! Can I just tell you how stinking crazy it's been around here!!! Joe passed his test which you all know! Happy day! However now it has been a frazzled crazy mess. I've been packing for AGES but now it's all over in storage thanks to some AWESOME guys from church! I'm so grateful for their willingness to help us.
Now we're fixing the house up. Joe's dad is back! So far we've patched up more stuff. Joe & his dad sanded that stuff while I came behind them painting over it all. So the front room and front area are now just about done. I finished repainting the back bathroom. We got all the crud chucked out to the dumpster and then everything else taken to the DI. Now we just need to do EVERYTHING else... like painting the kids bedrooms, kitchen and our bedroom and fixing part of the basement and working on the yard. Joe will only be here for another 3 days and so we really have to get too it!!! Saturday we're loading up the u-haul and then heading up to Montana. So it's crazy run run run... I feel like a chicken with my head cut off and I don't know which end is UP! I haven't had time to blog or to read blogs it's been so crazy! I'm seriously dying to read them too! So I hoping I can breeze through them but I probably won't be able to get all of them until we've got everything done... Can you tell I'm pouting! :)
So here are some pictures of what we've been doing. All the kids are camping out in one room w/only mattresses!
Kids are attacking Grandpa first thing in the morning.
And... since we have NOTHING in the house... the kids are eating on a board over paint cans! They think it's great!!!
Lastly here is Grandpa and the kids having a little fun in between all the WORK!!!

Wow I think you are doing an amazing job! I hate moving SO much! Have you sold your house or were you renting? I hadn't heard you talk about the misery of selling a house (ugh). Good luck this week!

That movie was fun, with the mattress. I think the makeshift table with the paint cans will also be good for the kids to look back on!

Okay- my kids lov ewhen we have had hard times like this where we have to do things very awkwardly-- like eating off a board on a paint can! These times end up being some of their best memories!!! So have fun--- it'll be over soon!
