I woke up to THIS the other day... Emma was having all kinds of fun doing the girls hair. The best part was that they all got along and were quiet so I got to sleep in a little bit! I'm not sure what Olivia is doing in this picture and I'm pretty sure I don't want to know what the twins are doing in the back ground. It looks like they're shoving as much candy down their little throats as possible.
The back of Olivia's hair...
Side view with ribbons!
And Olivia's mouth is just as full as the twins... She looks like a chipmunk!
Eliza's hair do!
Do you see the lovely bruise Eliza is sporting on her forehead? You should have seen it when it happened. I swear it was like another head growing... She ran smack into the corner of the wall at my parents. Luckily she let Aunt Tori put ice on it for a good 15 minutes. The lump went down a considerable amount which was a good thing seeing that we had family pictures the next morning!
The back of Liza's head...
Again I'm not sure what she's doing here?
Emma tried to take a picture of her own hair. Emma could quite grasp the reason why I wanted to her take her hair out before we left the house!
Today Emma had to have a tooth extracted. She did fabulous! The Dr. called the shot "drops". Before the "drops" they put a numbing cream on which helped a ton. I had told Emma earlier this week that they would give her a shot so it wouldn't hurt as much. Just to prepare her. She didn't have a clue they had even given her the shot. And I now have a laughing gas addict. She thought it was so fun to feel tingly and to feel like she was "flying". Since it was just a baby tooth they didn't think there would be much of root left. They were WRONG. The root on that bugger was just under 1/2 an inch long. It came out pretty good though. She's been in heaven with her pudding and jello. You can see the gaping hole where they took the tooth out and then just behind it is the permanent tooth that has been growing through the roof of her mouth. They say that it should move forward now without any problems.
I'm so grateful for modern drugs and that they have the ability to make things like this so much more bearable because seriously some of the tools they used on her looks like they just came out of an early 1900's dentist office! I asked Emma if she thought the tooth fairy would come or if she wanted to save her tooth. She said she thought "she'd" come but she wanted to save it for now. She "needs" to show it to as many of her family members as possible. Her exact words! She cracks me up. While we were waiting in the dentist office for the shot to work Emma was so funny. She was laughing a little and telling me exactly how her mouth felt and as it got a little more numb she started talking with only half of her upper lip. It was very cute. If she ever wants to be a dentist I'll have to wonder if it's because of the "laughing" gas!
And now on to packing! My closet is cleared out! Just a couple of things left. Nothing major though. I haven't seen this much floor in the closet since we moved in!
And this would be Emma's idea of staking the filled up boxes nicely in the front area! Isn't is great! I've also packed up all of the food storage down stairs and tomorrow I'm going to tackle the unfinished/storage area downstairs. BLECH!!! I'm so not excited about it either and tomorrow EARLY morning I get to pick up some more boxes from walmart. They are so awesome here to save boxes for you!

Way cute Do's! She'll either be a dentist or a hair stylist. Glad you're getting so much accomplished!
Your kids have so much hair!
Yikes, seeing all those boxes brought back memories of our last move. Something I hope I don't have to do again for a long time.
Good luck!
Cute pictures and hair do's! I'm glad it went well with the dentist!
Have a good day - Kellan
I think you have gotten a lot done.
When is the day you are moving? I am sure you have told me, but I forget.
Love the hairdo's! So nice that they entertain themselves so you can sleep in.
I can't believe how long the root was on that tooth!! I feel for her, I had lots of teeth pulled as a child.
The packing is coming along. Good to know Wal-mart saves boxes...if I can ever get my house sold :(
Wonderful hair do's.
That tooth story was pretty gruesome. But I suppose the laughing gas and drops did the trick for Emmma.
All the best for the packing. What a job. You are doing awesome!
My oldest son had two teeth growing in the roof of his mouth that I didnt even notice until once time he was laughing on the floor and there was a 2nd row! freaked me out. I wish I had some laughing gas now at home. hehe, nice stacking on those boxes. And I love the hair doos. I love girls. I am sometimes sad that Kimber wont have a sister. But I guess with a neice 17 months younger that will be the next best thing.
