This morning Eliza decided to dump about 8 cups of milk! 4 cups in a 4 cups glass measuring container and 2 cups in a 2 cup measuring container. Then I'd say there was at least a cup on the floor and maybe 1/2 cup on the table!!! To say the least I was not happy!!! So she got to spend a couple of hours in her room! I'm so tired of her wasting!!! I've saved those 8 cups of milk and she gets to drink that until it's gone! It's nasty there are pieces of cereal in it and the 2 cup measuring had remnants of melted butter in it from the night before! So for dinner she got to have "her" milk and we had "OURS"!!! :) Before church I made rolls and decided to let them rise the whole time that we were at church. We got home and they were looking wonderful! So I pulled them out of the oven and set them on the stove so the oven could preheat and while I turned my back for like 10 seconds Eliza smashed them ALLLL down flat as a pancake! I don't know what her issue was today but she was definitely ON ONE!!! I used the rolls for hamburger buns so I wanted them flat to begin with but NOT that flat! Here's a picture of one of the rolls cooked. It sprung back alright but it's a little less than 1/2 the thickness it would have been! Can I just tell you how good hamburgers are on home made rolls! Joe barbecued the burgers so they were dang good just by themselves but on the rolls they were that much better! Can you see Eliza's little finger indents at the top of the picture??? By the way... I just used the same old Amish white bread recipe! It's such a great recipe!
After dinner Emma & Olivia were playing, it was pretty cute! Liv was laughing and laughing... Emma would move her butt just right so Liv's whole body would bounce up! ;)
This was a couple of days ago. I thought it was cute! Livvy's been digging hats lately.

she sounds like she wants some attention. UGH! it's hard when they do naughty stuff to get it.
cute pictures!
and the rolls sounds heavenly!
Yeah, I'm thinkin' attention as well . . . and crazymamaof6 would probably know.
I just love that pic of Emma and Liv--priceless!
Oh my what a little stinker! Four years old is easier right? LOL!
I have days where my kids do stuff like that. I am never sure why. Hope she gets through her milk by breakfast, ha ha.
Sounds to me like she might like to have some cooking lessons with Mom. Maybe she wants to get creative in the kitchen and you can aim her in a more positive direction. (Plus that would give her some attention.)
That's a lot of milk! We've been complaining around her about how expensive it is an how we might have to go to drinking the dried milk (my dad used to make us kids drink that - do they still make that stuff?).
Have a good Monday - see you - Kellan
Oh, the joys of motherhood. She is a precious little thing. The rolls still look amazing...good job!
And with the price of milk as it is its like pouring gold on the ground!
I am think I need to buy a cow!!!
I glad that your rolls still tasted good!!
BTW I have added u to my blog roll... If that isnt ok let me know!
when Kyler was little he was INTO everything ALL THE TIME. I was always worn out from him.
I might try those hamburger buns ne day. those sound tasty.
If Eliza doesn't learn her lesson with the milk, I'm going to be shocked! Your rolls........cinnamon and otherwise always make my mouth water.
Kids, kids, kids..... they sure are "busy" little helpers, aren't they?
Hope she's enjoying her milk. I'll have to try rolls with burgers. Sounds good.
Sometimes you just never know what will set a little one off, huh? I don't think I've ever had a hamburger on a homemade roll...sounds yummy!
Oh man, she definitely was on one! It has never crossed my mind to have homemade buns with hamburgers before. How yummy does that sound? I ♥ homemade rolls and bread, too. We had homemade breadsticks with spaghetti tonight. I should've read your blog first so I coud've saved some dough for buns.
Can't you just wait until she is a teenager? I am grateful that you share you kiddo's with us.
Love ya Chica.
Sounds like you had a fun time. I hate it when they get like that.
Wow--I've sure had days like that too! How do we survive??
I like your playlist.
I can imagine how emma and olivia had fun!
Sounds like you had a rough morning that day!
Your blog looks great! Love the song, too.
That's too bad about your rolls getting smashed. It's kind of funny but I bet it wasn't at the time.
I miss playing with my sisters when we were younger. Your kids are always so good when we're over. They seem so sweet and they're really good with Ginger. It's funny to think that these are the same kids you write about when they're up to no good.
I'm catching up on your blog and Nikyla walks up and saw this last picture of Livy and said--- Oh she is so cute. Can she be my best friend and we can borrow each others clothes because I love her pretty shirt and hat! lol--- She does look very cute in a hat!
And I love the milk story. I think I would have made my kids drink "there" milk too if they did that!
