♡ "MY" plants...

It's been a little crazy around here... Joe mowed the lawn for me today but couldn't do the back yard! The grass was pretty long and with all the snow and rain it was just TOOO wet! But at least the front yard is looking pretty good. I planted some flowers in the front yard. I love flowers! They just cheer a person up! Well they cheer me up anyway! Here are some pictures of my new flowers and my roses!

This rose bush has big ISSUES! It's never done very well and so it was no surprise that this year it still isn't doing well! So I added some flowers around it and hopefully it'll spruce it up bit!

This is the first rose bud of the season and it looks like it's ready to bloom any day now! It's going to have a little bit of pink on the edges of the rose.

Here are some more flower I planted in between rose bushes. This is another bush that isn't doing so hot either... The one on the very left of the picture. They're so pathetic looking.

This rose bush is the top producer of roses! Do you see all those buds on top! There are tons!!! This bush ALWAYS does really well!

So there you have it! My BLACK thumb at it's best... Joe does much better with plants and gardens but hasn't had time to do much with "my" plants! I claim them even though he does all the work to keep them alive, well he usually does anyway! :)

Good for you for getting the planting done. It has been WAY too cold around here too!

Hopefully we don't get another snow storm that would stink with your new plants. Good job sprucing stuff up. Seems like everyone is doing a little sprucing up right now.

I'm just like you only worse I usually kill whatever I touch.
I need to get motivated to plant in my front flower beds.

I love roses, but I can't grow them worth beans! Keep taking pictures for us so we can see them when they do bloom!

Do you think the weather has anything to do with them not doing well? MAN o MAN,

I tried my luck with a rose bush last summer. It didn't make it. I do better with really easy, hearty plants. Your flowers look beautiful!

We have several rose bushes our selves. I LOVE roses.

That's great that you are working in the yard even though you are trying to pack. Hope they survive through that snow storm you had.

They're beautiful. Roses are just the most lovely, aren't they. Some must be easier than others. We have several bushes that I have literally done NOTHING for in over twenty years and they still bloom. Now that's hardy. Yours look nice.

Well it LOOKS like spring is there - did you let the weather man know?

How funny...I do the same thing around here, claiming all the plants to be "mine", when my husband is the one doing all the work to keep them alive.
Good luck with the roses!

So fun, love the spring when all the plants come out blooming and the flowers. We didn't plant a garden this year because we are moving, but that is fun too

Oh, I so can relate! I'm lacking in the green thumb department, big time.
