I gave my last lesson today at church so I handed out this little quote with some hand lotion to all the women. Joe's mom (thank you) helped me tie them on since I was running late this morning. The lesson went really well and I had tons of comments which was good because I thought I was going to have a ton of time left over. I have to say this has been the BEST calling. I've truly enjoyed it.
Here's a better picture of the quote. The quote is by Elder M. Russell Ballard an apostle in our church.
I put a rectangle around the part that he fixed. I just need to do a little touch up paint and that's it.
♡ 2. Next he fixed our cabinets in the kitchen. The vertical rectangle was pulling away from the wall. Not anymore though! And then the other rectangle is where the cabinet door was falling apart. We actually had to put some tape on it to hold it together for a little while.
♡ 3. Then he put up a stove fan top thingy (I'm not sure what they're called). I can now SEE when I'm cooking!!! It's so nice!
♡ 4. Again... A couple of years ago we had a leak in the bathroom but Joe's dad fixed it for us. However there was some cosmetic damage that needed fixing and so voila it's finished. You can't even tell that there was ever a problem! This is where the sheet rock came into play from HERE! It looks great!
♡ 5. And tons of spackling to fix little dings and stuff that the kids have done throughout the years! Now I need to sand some of this down and do some big time touch up painting!
♡ 6. This door had a crack in it where the circle is but you'd never know. Some painting will blend it in even more! Like I said TONS of painting to do!

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Okay now I have to brag about my Father-in-law... He did so many fixer upper things this week I'm in AWEEEE! ♡ 1. To start my LONG list of stuff we'll go with the ceiling. Last, last spring we had a leak in our walk in space by the front door. He fixed the major part of the problem last year but there was some cosmetic issues to fix still so this is what he did... Can you tell where he fixed it??? Pretty dang good I think. Especially trying to match the spackle stuff on the ceiling.

And stuff that I didn't get pictures of...
♡ 7. Fixed the steering box in Joe's pickup.
♡ 8. The air conditioning in my van.
♡ 9. Cleaned the filters in the van that were hidden in the glove box. We actually have power with that A/C now.
♡ 10. Fixed the screen on a window in the front room that got broken when we had a big wind storm last year.
♡ 11. Fixed the screen on the back screen door.
♡ 12. Put up a new door in Lane & Olivia's room.
♡ 13. Fixed Emma & Eliza's door.
I know I'm missing some stuff but really!!! WHAT A LIST! Like I said I'm in awe!!! Thanks Larry & Judy for all your help and HARD WORK!!!
Tomorrow I think I'll start some touch up painting in the front room and maybe some packing in my room! So much to do... :)
