♡ Sunday & Monday...

The girls just before we left for church! I did Eliza's hair first french braids. With a bunch of hair spray it stayed in pretty well. Then Olivia just had to have her hair the same way!

Yesterday we went to the park and had a BBQ with some friends. The kids had so much fun playing. Even when it started to rain they kept playing. Lane sat down to go down the slide and he got soaked. Freaked out for a minute and then when I told him to just keep going down it since he was already wet he decided it would be okay after all. Joe BBQed burgers and hot dogs and then smoked some apple crisp with apple smoke chips. We spent 3 hours at the park. The kids took maybe 15 minutes to eat and then played the WHOLE time! When we got home it was 6:30ish and everyone was tired. I had them get their jammies on and ready for bed. While they were doing that I sprayed their clothes so they wouldn't stain, put the food away and then helped Joe for a minute to put away the rest of the stuff. I came back in the house and Emma was asleep on Lanes bed and Eliza was no were to be found. I had Lane run downstairs to see if Liza was down there and he came back to tell me that she was down there asleep in her bed. Which shouldn't have surprised me because while we were at the park she said she just wanted to go home and take a shower and go to bed... Anyway Lane & Olivia were the only ones that made it long enough for the bed time ritual! Everyone was asleep and in bed by 7:00 which was really nice!

In bed by 7---you lucky woman! I can't seem to get mind to settle down till 9 or 10 with the sun going down so late.

And I had a good chuckle over your Wal-Mart "cowboy" story. My kids have no volume control either. I never know what they might scream out, or to whom. Mostly I just go to Wal Mart alone :)!

We saw you at the park when we drove by! I thought that was your van. Glad you all had a good time. You guys have been hanging out with all kids of friends lately. I live by that park and have never spend 3+hrs there. How sad is that?!
