Eliza's turn...

Who's says funny stuff. This morning she looks at me all pitiful and says, "Mommy, I have the pick-ups." I say, "Oh that's terrible." She says, "Yes, I think I'll go drink some water."
Lane isn't feeling well today. It actually started last night. He woke up saying he was hot but he didn't feel horribly hot. So this morning he felt pretty warm to me and I took his temp it was 100.3 so I gave him some Tylenol and then about 3 hours later he felt hot to me again so I took his temp and it was in the 100's again so I gave him some Motrin.
I think Eliza was feeling neglected since I was paying a little more attention to Lane so I was doing the dishes and she comes over to me and says (with the same concerned look again), "Mommy, my hands hurt." I say, "Why do they hurt?" She says, "They just wheally wheally hurt. I need some medicine like Lane."
Sure she needs medicine like she needs a whole in the head. If one has something then they all want it, even medicine. Everyone is napping right now so now I get to work out so not my idea of fun and then hopefully have a couple of hours of quiet. Oh the sweet sounds of quiet!!!

Sounds like its mommy-daughter time. Or another reason I love Tums. They can cure all kinds of woes, from I can't go to sleep to my nose hurts. Yep, I've heard them all!! (Especially an hour after bedtime.) Sometimes works even better than a bandaid!! (and they can't hurt, its just calcium of course used with moderation :o))
Enjoy your quite time, and good for you working out! A.

I hope Lane is feeling better soon.

Pick-ups, too cute.
It is hard to balance time equally between kids especially when one is sick. I struggle with it all the time.

Hope your son feels better soon. Oh, the fun of winter time! My 6 year old has been saying he doesn't feel well at night. I think he likes the bubble gum motrin I bought. Now I'm on to him!

I too look forward to nap time every day for my sanity. It will be sad when our 3 years olds out grow their naps.

Enjoy to quiet while it lasts! Olivia has some sort of bug right now, too, just fevers.... fevers for days and a rash. Must be viral. But still..... that's what I get for living in kid central (Provo). Wishing you health!!

Your kids come up with the cutest things!!!

Quiet is the best. I had some today. Olivia had a playdate from 10-2 and the boys napped from 10-1. It was HEAVEN!
