2007...What was your year like?

I'm taking Laura's idea and post about last year...
An unexpected blessing - I was released from nursery... It was very unexpected I thought I was going to have to be in there FOREVER! :)
Feeling important - My sister in law asked me to make all of her brides maid dresses, veil and kids dresses for her wedding. It meant a lot that she thought I could do it. My father in law is always so kind and tells me how grateful he is that I'm his daughter not daughter in law just daughter, that means so much to me...
Craziest thing I did - I'd say making all those dresses and driving FOREVER for our family reunion...
Smartest thing I did - Going camping with the kids they had such a blast.
Sentimental moments - I guess this isn't really as much a sentimental moment for myself as much as it was for my mom but at our family reunion this year my Uncle Joel surprised my grandma and everyone else by bring up my mom's Aunt from California to be at the reunion she is my grandpa's sister (he passed away several years ago). Nobody knew that they were coming and when my mom saw her she teared up and was thrilled, it was very touching. My mom has always had a special relationship with them so it really meant a lot to her! It was a wonderful surprise. It meant a lot to me to see my mom so happy! I'm far to sentimental and think I'll stop here or I'll be blubbering like a baby for the rest of the day. :)
Most enjoyable gift - Hands down that's my kitchen aid. LOVE IT! I use it for EVERYTHING...
Craziest purchase turnabout - I'm having a hard time coming up with anything so I'll just say my craziest purchase was the scrapbook find that Rachel, Bridget and I found this last summer...
Moments of maturity - I'm with Laura on this one potty training was HUGE and Sunday was the last day for the twins in nursery that has been a huge deal. I can't believe how big they're getting. I also feel that I have matured this last year in some ways.
Huge answers to prayers - We haven't had to much going on with HUGE answers but we've had a ton of small ones. One was that Eliza's check up at Doernbechers would go well and that nothing would change and that was answered. It's been such a blessing that all of our children are healthy and strong.

I just went back and read your post about Eliza and Doernbecker's. I know this is really late, but I'm so glad that everything went so well. My Emma had to have a test there and I couldn't believe how great they were. She also so Dr. Seldon......

Dr. Seldon is a great doctor. I've always had great experiences with Doernbechers. A couple of nurse problems but the dr's are all AMAZING! :) I hope everything is okay with your Emma...

Sounds like all good things to be thankful for! Here's hoping for more of the same in 2008.
