Last night there was a loud knock on the door and Joe and I both looked at each other like who the heck could that be? We never have people come over EVER! Okay maybe not EVER but RARELY... Joe got the door and there was no one there. But we did find this in a little package on the steps...
I can't wait to read it to the kids they'll love it. How much fun! We've never been Secret Santa'd before. I was trying to figure out who it could be and seriously have NO clue. I'm guessing someone from church since we don't really know many people that aren't! So now it's killing me to know who it is and knowing that I probably never will. That's the hard part at least with me. I'm so excited to see what it'll be for tonight. :)

could that be santa himself?
AWwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.........Santa stopped by. That must have been really cool!! Someone (santa) knows you're special :-)
That is so much fun! I should do that for someone, I think my kids would love it. By the way, you read a lot of my favorite blogs. Heidi Swapp (I miss seeing her comments), Becky Higgings (its the bomb), and Lisa Bearnson always inspires me. I will have to check out more on your blog roll!
How cute! You must be on Santa's nice list!!
How fun! It's fun being the santa and fun being the one recieving. When I was a kid, my family did the secret santa for another family. Another year, we also got to be the family recieving. That will be a fun memory for your kids.
We used to do almost every Christmas when I was growing up. We LOVED getting to knock and run. We did it for my freshman high school english teacher one year and she died within the next year from cancer. It was very touching to do it for her and she wrote a letter to us (not knowing who did it) and left it on her porch for the last night. It is such a special memory! When our kids get a little bit older I plan on continueing the same tradition!
We had a secret santa a few years back. The kids loved it!
COOL!
