Joe's mom gave us a gingerbread house kit. So we did it... Emma had a blast doing it and Eliza woke up when we were almost finished so I let her decorate one of the men. She thought it was so much fun too. I feel a little bad for leaving Lane and Olivia out but I didn't want to have to deal with 6 little hands getting into EVERYTHING! Here are some pictures of the project. Oh, and Judy it really wasn't as bad as we thought it would be! :)
Emma's been begging me for 3 months to put this together... Finally no more whining, well at least on this subject...

This one is Emma's she wanted it to be a girl. The big lips are great and then the black shoes I thought was great to. Emma said that she has a skirt on and the spree's on her head, that's her hair...

can they be eaten? they lookdelicious, but I won't be able to eat something my children have worked hard making it...
100% edible however I don't think I'd let them eat it since we'll have it out in the open for a couple of weeks. They want to eat the cookies so I think I'll let them do that... But the actual house makes me a little liery! :)
We do one of these every year, oddly enough, yours looks exactly like ours usually do. How weird is that?
They look yummy! And thank heavens all the kiddos are healthy enough to enjoy it...for now at least!
Should we start making a list of all the things we have in common! :) I'm really hoping all the kids will stay healthy. There was a 2 day vacation between Me and Emma so I guess I'll find out tomorrow! Knock on wood no one else will get it...
