9. Actual color scheme for your decor? Traditional red and green
10. Favorite Christmas tradition? as a kid? with your own family? Growing up my parents would take us out Christmas shopping to get idea's for what we wanted and then we'd go to a holiday movie and then out to dinner. This was the highlight of the year for us. Now with the kids so young probably opening one gift on Christmas Eve and I make sure that they open their Christmas Jammies.
11. Tree topper? star? Angel? other? In the past I had a corny little angel holding a light but she broke last year and this year I tried a star that I made but it looks weird so I need to find something else.
12. Christmas lights display?your house? to drive by? small bulbs? large bulbs? white? multi colored? simple? Griswald? On the house occasionally we put them up and I like the white icicle lights. I love driving by any and all lights. I'm a fan of small bulbs and I like the white ones for myself but think it's fun to see the way people use the colored lights. I know it's sad but I don't even know what a griswald is?
13. Favorite holiday icon collection?? Santa? Nativity? Snowmen? I like the Nativity but I don't have one myself. I like snowmen and Santa's.
14. Christmas card? letter? picture? I do a card with a letter inside and a picture for family & close friends. I also do a power point presentation that I email to family & friends. I had a blast making the PPS this year...
15. What is more fun for you White Elephant? or Draw secret Santa names? Secret Santa is much better!
16. Holiday budget? extravagant or low budget? what do you wish it was? I'd say low right now with Joe being in school. I don't see us ever going extravagant. I love to clearance shop throughout the year for Christmas.
17. Tree? real or fake? Prelit ? Green or flocked? I'd like real ones but can't afford them so we have a fake one and it's not prelit although that would really nice. I prefer green and am not a fan of flocked.
18. Best gifts are? homemade? or store bought? Both. Depends on what it is. I don't want say a homemade DVD player or IPOD. (this is angie's comment and I have to agree)
19. Which is better in your opinion? Surprises galore or being sneaky and peeking? Surprises galore!!!
20. Do you do thank you cards for Christmas gifts? Definitely a firm believer in thank you cards. One thing that my mom taught us growing up.

Ahh the christmas questions that is a good one... Might have to try it one of these days on my blog.
And Griswald is off of Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase we watch it every year.. His house was so decked out with lights you could basically see if from well EVERYWHERE. :):) We LOVE this show. Well Lloyd & I, we don't let the kids watch it- it's more for adults. BUT FUNNIER THAN HECK!

loved your blog, I like your christmas tradition that you did with your family - going out and stuff - I remember one year my dad gave us all 100 bucks (eight kids) to do whatever we wanted with it - WOW 100 dollars was soo awesome - of course I'm sure I spent a large portion on junkfood hehehehe.
