♥ Crashing Play Group...

We crashed Kelli's play group today and had a great time. The kids had a blast playing! It was fun to visit with Kelli. It was so nice to have things to talk about and it wasn't as awkward as it usually is meeting someone for the first time! Kelli's kids are so dang cute and Lane had a great time playing with a boy! He doesn't get that very often.
Kelli said I was taller than she expected. Joe's mom says that I must talk shorter than I am! :) It's crazy the way you picture someone while just talking and blogging with them and then to meet them in real person it's so different. I pictured Kelli right but I thought the kids would be taller. Of course my kids are really tall so I sure that's why!
Thanks Kelli for the fun time. It was great meeting you and the kids. Thanks for the cupcakes! The kids devoured them in no time! BTW Kelli is queen of cupcake land. Seriously she always has a new way to decorate them and it's always fun to see!
I wanted to get a picture of all the kids sitting here but Eliza was being a stinker and throwing a huge fit. So we get Emma, Lane & Olivia.

I used someones hair do! I can't remember which blog I got it from but my kids call it the wormy hair... I obviously look at way to many hair styling blogs... It was really cute and turned out best on Olivia's. Emma's was okay but not quite long enough and then I just did a half thing on Eliza's so it wasn't much to talk about!

awesome blogger meet! love those they are way more comfortable than meeting anyone else. since you know all about the stuff they blog about it's easy to converse.

way to go on the wormy hair. i tried that today too, on pig tails. and it took so long i was running out of time before school, and still had tons to do and another girl with hair to be combed i gave up. that and the bobby pins i was using weren't holding it, she would have looked crappy by midday.
yours looks great! way to go. and i like the clippies you used. i bet they were easier to use than bobby pins.

I am glad you "crashed" our play group. I wish I had a paperplate so the cupcakes looked better, sorry. Glad they devored them before you got a picture. hehe

So much FUN to meet a fellow blogger!
YOur wormy hair is so cute I love it!
I'm hoping this next time I get another girl there are s many cute styles out there I'm dying to try.
But when you have cute little girls any hair style would work for them. =)

Looks like a great day! No pics of the cupcakes??? LOL

That hair-do is pretty cute! I haven't attempted anything like that with my daughter's hair yet. I will have to see about getting some little chompy clips and giving it a go! Thanks for the idea!

This one is the one I'm most proud of:

the hair do is from babes in hair land. I only know that because I stole that one from her too! tee he! There are so many blogger friends I want to meet in real life too. It is odd to think how different someone will be once you actually meet them in real life-- but what fun!
