What was it about today that made all of the kids CRAZY!!! They were just wild, cranky and inconsolable. I don't know what their issue was but they were crying, bugging each other and telling on each other to no end... Emma has been in her room "cleaning" all day except a 3 hour period when she took a nap with the other kids but still isn't done with her room it's terrible. She plugged up the vacuum with all kinds of junk like large pieces of paper. Joe's the one who cleaned it out so I'm not exactly sure what he found in there but it wouldn't surprise me if he found socks and other various pieces of clothing and toys and whatever else she didn't feel like picking up! He said he had to put a stick down in it to PUSH all the crap out of it. It was so jammed packed in there. The kids pulled out all of Eliza's clothes, most of Emma's clothes and a large box of "too small" clothes. I told Emma to bring them all upstairs so I could go through them. Now I have a rather large pile of clothes that are clean, dirty and too small and some that might fit who knows... What a mess! We were going to go to the Lake and take the boat for a fun day and see how it does on the water since Joe and his dad fixed it but the kids were insane so we decided it was nap time and that maybe we'll try again another day. Was so not worth it. I think we had maybe 4 hours of getting along and that includes 3 that they were asleep for naps. Lane was throwing a tantrum and I told him to go downstairs and help Em clean her room and he freaked out and was crying while running and ran smack dab into the corner of the wall... Boys definitely shouldn't try and do two things at the same time because he got a huge goose egg and now it's bruised and looks like he's sporting a door knob on his forehead! I don't know what it is about BOYS and HEADS! At least my boy thinks that falling head first into everything is the only way to FALL!!!
Looks like a tumor! It popped out there so fast after he did it. It was crazy. Like one of those cartoons when the character falls and gets a goose egg and you hear that music as the bump grows. Yeah it was pretty much like that!

Ohh he makes my head seriously hurt. Poor kid. Don't ya love it when they throw fits. And while they are doing it & they get hurt I laugh to myself because hello you brought that one on yourself. :) I used to be a more sympathic mother. Sorry you had such a crappy day.
It must be the moon or tides or something because my kids are all like that too!! Somedays I think I am the one that needs the time out before I explode and do or say something I would hate to have repeated by one or more of them!! Alisha
OUCH! That gives me a headache just looking at it. I think boys have a magnetic pull to walls and corners. My kids have been creeps as well but I think I'll blame it on school or lack of sleep for me ;o). Hope today's looking better!
