1st Day of School...

Well we did it Emma is off to school and most likely having a blast. She has almost all of the same kids that were in her 1st grade class so she wasn't to nervous. She didn't really even say anything about having a new teacher. Although when we walked into the school she wanted to see her 1st grade teacher first and show her the new hair cut that she got yesterday. Then we went to her new class room and I met her teacher. She already new the teacher from last year and the teacher knew who she was too which was nice and made the transition easier, I think!

Emma was so excited to leave for school. She kept asking, "Is it time to go yet?" For once we were really early. I thought it would take longer to do her hair and get it just right but it didn't take to long, which will be a good thing in the morning's.

Emma picked out her new polka-dot shirt and new shoes for her first day. I thought she looked very cute.

I had Emma's hair stacked in the back. It's very cute.

I think I need to make the transition from the back to the front look a little smoother so I might try my hand at fixing it. We'll see, I don't want to mess it up thought...

This is Emma next to her class room door. I can't believe Emma is in the 2nd grade. Time goes by so quickly.

I love the first day of school photos. Emma's hair style is so cute, I would trim it a little to transition the back a little better, but that's just me. She looks so grown up!
