Cooking...

I thought this was a cute picture! Eliza helping Joe cook dinner. She helped stir, sprinkle cheese and tater tots on the "Tater Tot Casserole". She was very excited about helping daddy cook.

Yesterday Emma was supposed to take a bag of Mac & Cheese downstairs and put it in the lockable cupboards but she didn't she just put them on an open shelf. So this afternoon Lane & Eliza found the boxes and decided to open them ALLL up and dump them out all over the floor. There were 8 boxes and they opened 4 pkg of the cheese powder and dumped that on the floor as well. I do have to give them a little credit because they tried to vacuum it up. I heard the vacuum going downstairs so I went down there to tell them to shut it off and that is when I saw the MESS!!! They had already vacuumed up a bunch, enough to fill the bucket in the vacuum. I dumped it out and tried to clean up some more but it was plugged so I had to take it all apart to find the dam. Which ended up being 2 crumpled up cheese envelopes...

Then they were playing in Lane & Olivia's room and there's nothing to get into in there unless they bring it in there... So when it got to quiet I wondered what they were doing again... This time they snuck a box of fruit snacks and had their mouths completely full of fruit snacks so I made them spit it out and they got time out in their room... Needless to say I'm locking the upstairs pantry again. The most frustrating part is that they haven't bothered with that cupboard for months so I haven't had it locked for a month or more and then all of a sudden it's of interest again... I think I've said that they drive me crazy at least 20+ times a day...

Joe starts school again on Monday so that leaves me a single parent again for another 3 terms. I'm just glad that he's almost done. Happy Day!!!
