It's finally over... 8 days is a long time. Although it was remarkably good. Yesterday was the worst day and today wasn't the best but certainly not the worst either. The 3 youngest were actually downstairs playing for quite a long time this afternoon. In fact they got so quiet I started to worry. I went downstairs and checked on them and they were all sitting on Em's bed reading books. Go figure. It was great. Luckily they didn't hear me so they kept on playing for another 15 minutes or so and then decided that they were all ready for dinner. They had better naps also and that really helped. I don't anticipate having it easy for the rest of the week though with Joe back, especially since I made him a honey do list that we have to get done before school starts back up again. So he'll have a small window to get everything done. We'll see what happens.
