15 pounds, 14 quart size bags and 2 - 1/2 hours later, I'm officially finished. It actually went by pretty fast. Luckily Olivia didn't bug me to much. Just the occasional, I need a sandwich or cracks and a couple of time she wanted to hand me peaches out of the ice water but she got bored pretty quick with that. Although that led to her playing in the water... but all in all it went pretty smoothly... :)
We had the peach jam today for lunch and it was really good. Maybe we'll have breakfast for dinner tonight just so we can have toast with jam!

Yum! I'm just waiting for my jars to get all washed up then I get to start on my massive amount of peaches! Should be fun....
I think....
Ps. we love having breakfast for dinner!
I will have to try the freezer jam. It looks easier than canning.
They are beautiful, what a lot of work! think about how much you will enjoy them later.
I happened upon your blog and thought I would say hello.
It looks like you have been busy. it looks yummy too :) I have not done any freezing or canning this year, but last year I made pickles and peppers.
It would be great if you would stop by Grace Talk and say hello sometime. It's always fun to make new friends!
good for you. They look yummr!
That looks wonderful! When I was growing up, we had an apricot tree in our yard and my mom made the best homemade jam! Brings back memories.
Wow! come on down I'm sure I can find some around here for you to do!
