Before Joe leaves for work we have family dinner together but Joe is already dressed for work and doesn't want to get his scrubs dirty so he'll put a towel in his shirt like Lane is doing below... Lane didn't want to mess up his school clothes at breakfast!
I'm so grateful that our school still teaches the Pledge of Allegiance. The kids say it in class every morning!!! Eliza already has it memorized.
We went to the lake today our last little jaunt before the winter sets in. It was a little on the chilly side maybe mid to high 60's and very windy. This was after I soaked Emma's friend and Eliza while I was driving... I don't like driving the boat in choppy weather...

and... tonight Lane lost his other bottom tooth... with a little help. I could see his new tooth coming in so I tied some dental floss around it and tugged a little but he said it hurt so I told him to go show dad. Joe looked at it and said, "Huh" and jerked... It came right out barely holding on by a tiny bit of skin... Lane is thrilled for the tooth fairy to come.... Luckily she'll be able to get two in one trip... Emma lost her tooth a couple of days ago but the tooth fair keeps forgetting about her. "Who's idea was it to do this tooth fairy thing anyway?" :)

Very cute! My kids' schools both still say the pledge as well. It's funny because when they are asked to recite other things, sometimes phrases of the pledge get mingled in.
Looks like you are all having alot of fun!
Our tooth fairy tends to go on long vacations - frequently! The kids have to often leave notes on their bedroom doors saying "Dear Toothfairy - I lost a tooth today (yesterday, last week, last month...) Please come and visit me!!

Ir and Ibit just lost their teeth too. both lost two. ibit lost bottom teeth while Ir upper teeth (is it the right word?)
Love the napkin. Isn't it so funny how they like to copy? I can't believe how grown up your kids look in these pictures, especially Lane. Maybe it's his haircut. :)
