We had stake conference this weekend and Elder Dallin H. Oaks came to our stake with Elder Renlund from the Seventy. Both meeting were wonderful. Saturday's meeting was uplifting, wonderful and even had some humor like above. I love that there can be uplifting humor. It seems like anymore everything "funny" has something crude or demeaning in it!

Anyway wonderful conference I'm so grateful for our good friend that watched the kids for us so we could go to the Saturday Leadership meeting and adult meeting. It was amazing how much we got out of it without having to deal with kids. I can't say that I got as much out of today's meeting but it was still wonderful and the kids got to meet Elder Oaks and Elder Renlund. They were walking around the chapel greeting everyone they could and shaking hands with them. The kids got to shake their hands as well. Except for Olivia she was being shy. So she got a affectionate back pat! :)

I love that quote! Saturday night session is always my favorite. (maybe because there are no kids, or maybe its because only those that really what to be there attend)

That's cool that Elder Oaks was there! I love conferences. They give that boost that most of us need from tiem to time
This week is our Stk. Conference. I think Elder Holland is speaking. But I could be wrong.
