♥ Did you know we had a fancy pool?

The kids were really good during my whole shopping excursion so I told them if they helped me get the groceries in the house they could go outside and play... They played really well! No fighting! I cleaned up the dining room and kitchen. So at least I can look at it now with out wanting to barf or run away!
You all may not know that we have a fancy, gorgeous, beautiful, fully maintained and pristine pool!!! Well we do and it's lovely!
This was the first time the kids decided to play in it!
What could be more fun???
It's a gorgeous day about 50 degrees or so...
Without further ado here is a picture of our pool...
This is before I started doing the dishes...

Doesn't it look like fun? They're laughing and giggling and splashing!

Crawling!!!

kicking...

more laughing and giggling and crawling...

In the maybe 10 minutes it took me to do the dishes this is what I came out to find! I knew I shouldn't have told them NOT to get their hair wet!!! I didn't want them to get in that crap hole to begin with but since they were already in there I figured I'd finish my stuff like cleaning up the front room.

They're having so much fun! I am not thrilled!

I just get ready to start picking up it's maybe been 5 minutes since I took that video and what do I hear? Crying, whining, freaking out from Lane, "I'm freezing, it's so cold" blah blah blah!!! Obviously they don't get why I tell them to stay out of the mud and water! 30 seconds later it's Olivia "I'm freezing, it's so cold" blah blah blah!!! 30 seconds after that it's Eliza same thing! I LOVE my mud room!!! Before I'd let them strip I had to get a picture!

Okay and a video!!!

Maybe they'll remember for next time??? I doubt it! It took FOREVER to get all the dirt and grass and sticks out of their hair!!! Lane was a breeze!!!

I'm still not thrilled it's off to bed early tonight! They'll be out very fast! Music to my ears!!! :)

At least they had a good time while it lasted! :) And an early bedtime, yeah it's a good day.

When I saw your blog title, I just said "OH NO" to myself because I knew it wouldn't be pretty for you...

May the force be with you...and may your children make it to adult-hood!

LOL! laugh out loud
Did my deplorable, I mean adorable children ever do that? They sounded like they learned a lesson, any scripture stories go with that?

Sorry, Melissa I am laughing my head off right now - I thought it was great! But only because it wasn't me! Maybe you need a shower in the mud room, because unfortunately for you it is not the last time, they'll just wait until it is 70 degrees outside and try again! It was 70 here yesterday and E&A were outside swinging in their swimsuits yelling "Daddy turn on the spweenklers!" at the top of their lungs!!
But look on the bright side, dishes done, front room cleaned up, early bedtime... maybe six weeks before a reapeat!! :0)

It looks like the best kind of pool.......the kind you don't have to maintain and that dries up on it's own! :)

You should have turned the air conditioning on when they came inside :).

Didn't you know when you moved to Montana that every house comes equipped with a pool?

It does appear that they had a great time til the "warm" weather settled in! :) We have enjoyed seeing the sun and the nice "warm" weather too!

Burn the video on to a disk and when they ask if they can go out and play in the water when it is 50 degrees, hand it to them to go watch.

Those are the best pools!! My MIL irrigates her lawn in the summer and we LOVE to go out there when she does. So much fun for the boys. And I had to laugh about the grass. My neat freak son did not like the grass sticking to him one year.

Yay for your MUD ROOM :)
