♥ Back from the Dentist...

I took Liza in to the dentist and they did an x-ray. Turns out that her permanent teeth and right there. Here baby teeth have no root left and are about ready to go. He figures that her pulling on the strap just broke some of that tissue away. He offered to just wiggle them out for her with a little bit of Novocain or leave it for her to wiggle out. Eliza decided she wanted to do it herself.

She'll be 5 in a week which is a little early for loosing teeth but we know that her bone age is actually around the age of 6 so it's about right for her. I'm glad they just did the bone age scan so we know where she's at!
So yay no big deal!

Yea! I just saw your post. I am an oral surgeon's nurse. This is kind of my field;) Your dentist is right. One thing to know about baby teeth is to really loosen them up you need to wiggle side to side and not front to back. If you think of it like a screw and turn (or rock it) side to side those roots will pop out of the tissue faster. Sounds like the tooth fairy will be coming to your house soon! Glad she is ok. Good luck with the teeth!!!
