Finally the last day of swimming. Emma isn't happy but it'll be nice not to have to be some where every morning. She's enjoyed it and has learned a lot. I don't think that she'll pass this level and probably will have to repeat it next year but that's okay. We skipped the 2 1/2 level anyway, which didn't go into much of anything. So here's a picture of Emma swimming.
Below Emma is doing free stroke and above waiting for her turn.
We emptied out our pickup that was full of cement from our side walk. By the time we finished I was covered in dirt as was J, plus we were sticky from the heat. It topped out at 97 I think yesterday. Whatever it was, it was definitely HOT. So now we just have to lay the forms and have the city come by and inspect it and then we can lay concrete. So many steps to follow. We've already had the different companies come by to make sure that we don't dig into any utility lines. It surprised me how quickly they got that done since I called at 3:30ish pm yesterday and most of them had come by the house by noon. Hopefully the side walk will be done by Friday... What a relief...

Maybe I should have put my kids in swimming instead of soccer, we still have 2 1/2 weeks left. Hopefully you don't have too much outside work left to do until it cools off a bit outside.
