Since my last post was rather small for today I figured I'd post again. Just to give myself something to do. Joe started back up with his clinicals today so it should be a long day for him. I'm just sitting here listening to Jewel on OPB. There is nothing on the TV right now unless you like South Park, yuck and foul is my opinion. And the news is beyond depressing so I try to stay away from that, therefore, I BLOG and of course read.
The kids were half way decent today other than the whining, crying and tattling it was pretty good. Lane wouldn't take a nap so by 6:00 he was beyond cranky. Eliza is so moody right now I don't know what the issue is with her she broke a light bulb down stairs, which Emma found and then cut herself while she tried to take it out of the socket. I don't get how she broke it, must have been throwing stuff at it because it was still in the socket but broken. She must have a good aim or just good luck. So Emma and Eliza have one bulb now which doesn't give off much light because it's one of the lights that are flush with the ceiling and the bulb is actually in the ceiling. If that makes any sense at all.
Lane got mad at Olivia today and so to get her attention he grabbed her hair and pulled. It defiantly got her attention. She started crying of course (I would have too). So we had to have the talk about how pulling hair isn't nice etc... I'm just surprised we haven't had to have that talk before. Olivia didn't complain much when I put her hair up in a pony tail and Lane didn't try it again. Lane was just lucky that I was right there cause Olivia was ready to pounce on Lane, she was soooo mad and she can be mean. She's not afraid of Lane or Eliza. She's learned how to keep her own!
Yesterday, Olivia was sooo cute. She layed out one of her blankets and then went into her room and got one of her babies and came back to the front room with baby in tow. She looked down at the blanket and then knelt down and said, "NO, get off" picked up the bear that was on the blanket, threw it off and then picked up ginger snap and threw her off the blanket and said, "No No it's for baby!!!" The face that she made was so demanding and serious, it was hilarious... Joe and I both cracked up it was so funny.
Anyway that was our day in a nut shell... Now I'm off to read for a little bit. I started 'Fire of the Covenant' AGAIN!!! I love that book it's soooooo good. Definitely recommend it.
