A new phone and birthday preparation...

I got my new phone yesterday and the cover today. So far I'm really liking it. It's been a LONG time since I've had one that wasn't a flip top. I just love the cover!!!

Lane and Eliza's birthday is tomorrow so today Olivia and I made 2 batches of cupcakes, 2 9-inch round cakes, 1 loaf cake and 18 more cupcakes. Holy cow that's the most cupcakes/cakes I've made in one day. So I'll be posting the end results of those very soon.

I have a friend coming over today to help me rototiller our garden spot. Tomorrow I'm going into town with a friend to buy some potato starters and I need to pick up some fertilizer which will probably happen Saturday but I can't wait to get the garden going. Hopefully it does well!

Lane and Eliza are both having one friend over tomorrow after school for a play date. They decided they wanted mac and cheese for their birthday dinner with their friends and then they want to have a BBQ on Saturday with the family. I can't believe they're 6. Things have changed SOOO much just in the last year. I did enjoy the time when they were young like HERE, the chubby cheeks and happy baby stages however I'm so grateful we're past the destruction phases like THIS, THIS and THIS...... so glad!!! (and that wasn't even 1/4 of the stuff they came up with!!!)
