I took the kids cupcakes for their classes Friday mid-morning. They were pretty excited when I got there.
Then after school they each got a friend to come over. I had Eliza's friends little sister come to so Olivia could play with someone. The girls did a lot of coloring together...
The boys did a lot of wrestling!
Saturday we had the family party. I finished their cake Saturday afternoon with way too much help!!! :) I knew I should have finished it the night before!
Lane was very thrilled with the cake!

...and of course the blowing out of the candles...
I think they had a good time... They got to shovel manure before the party and were actually very excited about doing so. Then we had the BBQ... All in all it was a great day now we just need to plant some veggies in the garden!

Cool. Your school still allows cupcakes, homemade no less? Wow-- our school won't allow anything but 150 calorie snack packs or something equivalent. Happy birthday!

Wow! You did a great job on the cake with helpers and all!! I just LOVE the barn with the licorice and cereal. You are so talented. And the school cupcakes were cute too (you used your cricut didn't you?) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
