This week Joe's mom Judy has been visiting. The kids are having a great time with her. On Friday we had a get together at our house. Judy was staying at Joe's brothers house for a week and then on Friday they brought her over to our house and we decided to have a dinner/get together also. This is Olivia and her cousin Justin. The kids were dressing up don't you love Justin's hat or rather Eliza's hat on Justin. I told him I was going to take a picture and put it on my blog! :)
I'm the secretary in Primary at church. Primary is what we call the classes for all the kids at our church. I made a mini cake for one of the kids birthday's that's leaving Primary to be in Young Men's. I love my calling. I don't have to do a lesson every week like a Primary teacher but I get to take role and keep things organized which I love to do. I'm still the Activity Day's Leader for the 8 to 11 year old also.
Then after church on Sunday we had a Linger Longer and the theme was Pizza so I brought Fruit Pizza. This time I used mandarin oranges, strawberries and blueberries. The mandarin oranges where a little hard to cut through they just wanted to move all over the place of course it didn't help that I had a lousy pizza cutter but I'm not sure how much better it would have been with a good one. For future notice I think I won't use them again although they look really cool.
Then Monday Judy and I went out on the town! We left at maybe 10:30 in the morning and got our hair cut then got some shopping done. We got home at 5:30ish. It was a really fun day. Tuesday I had Activity Days and we only had 5 girls show up including Emma so it was a small group but just as crazy as any other day. We talked about budgeting for the future and tithing. Then played a game and had cinnamon rolls for a treat. I took Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough and rolled it out flat then added the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon, rolled it up, cut them and baked them for maybe 10 minutes and they were done. I made up some of Bridget's cream cheese frosting slathered it on and yummy!!! It was really good, fast and I didn't have to waste a bunch of time waiting for it to rise. I love the fast part! Yesterday Joe and I got to go to the temple and his mom stayed with the kids. After the temple Joe took me to the Olive Garden for my late birthday dinner. I love the Olive Garden. We never go there so it was a great treat. It was really nice to spend the day with Joe and not have to feel rushed about getting back home to the kids. I can't even tell you the last time that Joe and I had a date. In fact we haven't for years! THANKS JUDY! Also yesterday the kids were showing Grandma the fun game that they learned when they stayed with Glen and Summer for several hours this summer when we were working on the house. Glen is hilarious acting these out and the kids LOVED every minute of it. All of us where cracking up. Joe's dad was there helping on the house also so he got to witness it also. We had so much fun. It was a great break from all the work! Thanks again Summer & Glen!!! In this picture they are acting out Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The kids ran off too soon so this is just Olivia acting out a snake.

The pizza..... oh that pizza! Send it out my way!!
Pizza looks yummy! Did you use canned oranges? They might be easier to cut...
What a fabulous week. So nice of you MIL to come visit and I'm glad you had a date night.
I didn't know you were called as the Primary Secretary too? You are busy busy!

Love the kids acting like T-rex. funny! The pizza was beautiful, even if it was difficult to cut.
I'll have to tell Glen that. :)
seeing that fruit pizza makes me want to make one.
Linger Longer is such a fun idea! I want to do that!
Were you able to open the files for the Princess Academy? Someone else had problems with them. Let me know if I need to reformat and send them again :D
I want to be Activity Day leader! Fun job! I'm surprised they let you have two biggies like that though. Is your Ward small?
And now I'm hungry for fruit pizza AND Chocolate Cake! Both looked fabulous!
