Today was the big day! Emma got braces!
Emma has a really bad under bite and it's ruining her permanent upper teeth so we're hoping this will take affect quickly... right now she can't even bite down on her molars so anything she eats is with her front teeth. She already broke off one of the "blockers" that is helping her to not do the under bite thing so we're heading back to the ortho tomorrow morning... It doesn't help that it's all the way on the other side of town a good 1/2 hour away... Hopefully this will be our last visit for a couple months until her regular visit!

Good luck with her braces. Kevin has really adjusted well to his. He got them in June. We can already tell a huge difference in his teeth. He has a huge overbite and it is obvious already how much it has been corrected!

Not sure if congrats is the right word ;) but Happy Braces Emma!! Hope she adjusts to them quickly.

scrambled eggs and top ralmen noodles are the soft foods my oldest son liked on days they get tightened.

So cute :) This reminds me....I need to call the ortho for my 5th grader. He still has lots of baby teeth, but they are over crowded already (sigh)
