♥ Lane... Sweet BOY!!!

I have to post about Lane!

He's been so cute the last couple of days. I woke up early one day last week and was closing the windows to keep it cool in the house and the mud room door was open and there was Lane emptying the dryer for me... No reason just doing it... SO CUTE!

Then a couple of morning's ago Lane came in my room to tell me he was awake (he does this every morning!) so I asked him if he would start shutting the windows for me. Which he did... Then I asked him (since he was dressed and I was not) to take the garbage out to the road. Which he did... Then he came back in and told me that he couldn't take it out there because the can had fallen over and stuff was all over the ground. So I told him to get Emma to help him pick it up. He said, "Okay but I'm going to get some rubber gloves for her cause it's yucky." He went in to Emma's room and tried to wake her up but it didn't work so I guess he went out there all by himself and did it. He didn't complain about it or anything. I didn't even know that he did it until he came back and told me... His words, "I couldn't get Emma up so I just did it all by myself!" He was pretty happy with himself and I have to say I was too! SO CUTE!!!

He is such a great helper. Of course he has his moments but more times than not he is just a fantastic helper. He's always the first one to start on his chores and he'll even do his sisters chores or most of them. They milk it the little stinkers but he'll just keep going (most of the time)... In fact I've had to tell him to stop working so the girls don't get away with NOT doing what they're supposed to and making him do it all! He's such a good kid!
