GRILLING GOODNESS
1. When you were growing up dreaming of having children...dreaming of what their names would be...did you stick with those names?
I did not stick with any of the names I had growing up. I have them written down in my journal... I think it's in storage... When I find it I think that could be a fun post...
2. Are you affected by the death of Michael Jackson?
Nope! Really don't care isn't that sad... I feel bad for his family and kids and the way the news is bugging them all.
3. Do you use your dishwasher and your fireplace?
I use my dishwasher everyday and would go crazy if I didn't have one. We don't have a fireplace although I wish we DID!!!
4. Have you ever been on a mission trip?
Nope. I threw the idea around for a while and then met Joe and got married but maybe when we're old and retired! :)
5. Will your kids participate in a Vacation Bible school this summer?
Nope. Never been much into that kind of thing. Although the kids go to church every week and have their Primary activities, family home evening (most Mondays or whatever day works with Joe's schedule),we read scriptures every night (only a couple of versus that's all they can handle), family prayer and they say their own prayers every night.
6. What about the economy is affecting you the worst?
Compared to some we're great... I'd love it if Joe was able to get in some extra shifts but they aren't allowing that right now because of the economy but we're just grateful to have a job! Things are tight but we're making it and have been very blessed!
7. Do your kids do chores?
Yes they do! Every morning for 10 minutes the little kids put away the dishes and Emma has different chores through out the week. Then just after dinner they have another 10 minutes where they pick up the front room before bed. If they have time left over from the 10 minutes then they have to pick up their room until the timer goes off. Plus when I do laundry the have to put their stuff away...
8. Do you use energy efficient light bulbs?

Yes we do. They were really cheap at Costco when we first moved her so we stocked up. I love how long they last and our electric bill is much better doing so!

I wasn't effected either by MJ's death, but I just blogged about it too. I watched a woman crying on the news last night like mad. It was nuts.

I know what you mean about a dishwasher. Last year we were looking at houses and I told my husband if it didn't come with a dish washer we had to get one.
I used one of the names from my childhood dreaming..... Shantel Ciera, but the only other girls name I wanted wouldn't work well with our last name: Kimberly Kristin. And I guess I got half of another name. I wanted a MacKinzie Giles I got a Scott MacKinzie. Too many name their girls names that are technically last names meaning "son of.." and My husband was against his son havinga girlsname.,.... not my fault people don't research the mane like: MacKinzie, McKenna, Madison and so on....
