♥ Update...

I think there needs to be a discount that the
lenders/title companies etc... have to pay
to us for sitting on their butts and doing NOTHING to push the sale of a house through... I mean seriously we had an offer 2 days after we put our house on the market. We countered, they accepted! That was the middle of JULY!!! Now 2-1/2 months later we're still not closed. It's driving me batty. There was no hold up with the inspection or the appraisal just the stinking lender dragging their dang feet!!! And now with our house in MT they're talking about the 10th ishhhh of October (Cause they're still not sure if that's 100%) for a close date. COME ON!!!

In the mean time we've had a play date with a blogger friend, went out to lunch with Kelli, had several park dates with my sister's, met up with a friend that I trained to take my job at State Farm when I quit just after having Emma, been to a couple of story times at the library,
had a fun last minute shopping trip with my sisters and mom,
saw an old high school friend and caught up with church friends, and plan on teaching a paper bag scrapbook class for my sisters Young Women (Youth Group for church). This is the one I did for my mom...
All in all it's been a fun time and I'm grateful for the time to be with our family!

I am glad you are keeping busy. That is ridiculous that the house close date keeps changing. How frustrating for you. Have you seen Joe through this at all? I'm feeling for you.

Love the paper bag scrap book! I actually considered doing it for Mutual last night, but didn't have enough prep time. Let me know how it goes and post some tips on doing that with a group of girls. If it's too insane, I'm not sure I'll want to go there ;D

Bummer on your house. I'm sure it's all about mortgages, with so many banks going under and selling out to foreign $. Scary economy!!

I hope it all falls into place for you soon! I'm sure that limbo is not fun! Even with outings and shopping with your Sistas!

Totally agree with you on the bank issue. I'm so sorry it's been such a feat to deal with them. FRUSTRATING!!

That scrapbook is BEAUTIFUL!! I so need to do something for my mom like that!

What a great day out! I need one like that! lol

I whole heatedly agree. 2 1/2 months WAY to stinkin long.

If I had done your loan, it would have had closing docs at the title/escrow company 3 weeks after we started. There is no excuse for slowness, esp in this market. Have you locked? if so you need to tell your agent and title and your LO that someone other than YOU is going to pay for the extention. Call me if you need to talk about it before you TELL them!

Your house troubles are giving me a headache! I can only imagine what it's doing to you! We've only sold one house and thankfully it went smooth..... until about a month after the sale when the dang title company realized they screwed up and overpaid us, then sent us a bill! I refuse to pay for their mistake and about once a year we get a nasty gram from a law firm threatening us and I change the date on my letter and sign it and mail it off. At least 2 times a week a collection agency calls about it and we don't answer! They will learn one way or another ... if I make a mistake I have to pay if they make the mistake they think I should pay, I don't think that's how it should go!
I hope you can get this done soon.
