My title is cheesy I know! But what do you expect from a "single" mom with 4 kids. As for the houses... They've both had their closing dates extended and I'm not happy about that AT ALL!!! So we're now looking at next week (HOPEFULLY) for the OR house and the first part of October for the MT house... I'm so ready to have my husband back and ready to not be a single parent anymore. The worst part I think is the disciplining. But enough about the crap that I have no control over and on too funner (if that's a word which I'm sure it's not) STUFF!!! :) About a month ago when Gayle came and visited me in Washington we made some bracelets. This is one that I made (with Gayle's stuff and she has the best stuff) and still LOVE to wear!!!
So this week when she came to visit we made some matching earrings. She helped me do the little twisty hook thingy cause I suck at that. I really like them but I think I'm going to take out the long straight bead and make them a little bit shorter. But that would require twisting the metal again so I'll probably have to wait until I see her again for that! :)
On Tuesday night we went shopping and got some GREAT deals! I got this necklace...
Which came with these earrings... but no bracelets so of course Gayle and I had to make some to match!!! Big surprise I know!
So this is what we came up with. I love them! They're simple and they're smooth, comfy and I love the way they roll on my wrist!
We found some more really cute beads at Michael's that I'm dying to have so I think I might have to make a trip over there some time before I see Gayle again and pick some up! I'll of course have to use a 40% off coupon or something since they charge an arm and a leg over there... Thanks again Gayle for all of the fun! Also while Gayle was here we took the kids to the park again with my sister Alisha & Paige and their kids and just before that we went over to the library for story time. Then that evening we had a big family dinner with ALL of my siblings which was a blast. I'm trying to eat up all the time possible with my family before we skip town to MT... This is the hardest part about moving so far away! Especially since all 6 of us kids are finally all in the same state again! Well for now anyway!!! This is just a random picture of Eliza! She was just chillin out watching a little Clifford or something like that on PBS... Notice her hand in her hair? She's always doing this when she's in the zone. My sister Alisha says it's a self relaxer and Liza has the type of personality that REALLY needs something like that!!! Most days that's the only way that I can get her to take a nap or fall asleep at night. Our bedtime ritual includes hugs, kisses, me rubbing her face for a second and her playing with her hair!

Looks like your collecting lots of fun jewelry while your a "single" mom. At least you have your parents to help you out with the kids and lots of time with your sister. So your not totally alone. Single is what Joe is. Isn't he lucky!
I have some shorter silver bars if you still want the same look on your earrings? Dang it we forgot to go to Micheals :( you'll have to show me the ones that you get. Hopefully I'll be able to come up again before you guys leave.
Stink about the closings! Hang in there!!
SUPER cute jewelry! I love it!
I feel for you having to be a single parent for so long and living in other peoples homes so you cant disapline like you would like to or as often or they know it and push their limits. Love the jewlery! you guys are funny. Party on!

i hope it happens soon for you.
like the earings! I've never made jewelery. you did a good job.
sorry the house deals were extended. That is cool your OR house will be done soon! I wondered how quickly it would sell since I've seen other houses here sit for sale for a year! That will be nice when Joe comes back to help out with the kids and give you a break.
Pretty jewlery! The picture of your daughter is so cute.
The jewelry is very cool congrats on making the bracelets, earrings and such.
Bummer on the house things.... I'll keep reading to see how it's turning out! {I scrolled down and am reading them in the right order.}
