Family Vacation

***CAUTION*** Tons of pictures ***

My dad had a surprise birthday party for my mom so we got to go to Oregon! We left around 7pm hoping the kids would fall asleep and not give us much trouble... Since we were all crammed in our Ford Crew Cab... It was working great until an idler pulley burned off about 5 hours into the trip... Luckily we were close to a town and grabbed a hotel room there. The kids were SOOO excited to have their first visit to a hotel.

Everyone crashed... the next morning we set about trying to figure out how to get it fixed. Napa didn't have the correct part we needed so finally after dealing with one irritating individual Joe got everything squared away. Our part was ordered and would be there at 2pm... So we had some time to kill. I read the kids ALL of their library books. I think we had 18 of them then took the kids to lunch and wasted some time there. Finally at 1:45 they called and our part was in. Joe had everything installed and back to normal in less than 1/2 an hour! I'm so grateful he's handy with vehicles! Since he was able to do it, we lucked out getting the part for 23 bucks and a tool he needed for 3.50 and that was it... The hotel cost more for the hotel room! But again I'm just grateful it wasn't any worse!

We got to the beach with no other problems and the kids were so excited to see their cousins!

The next morning my sister and I were getting ready and we could here all the kids singing Taylor Swift so She grabbed her iPod and turned on the music. Not kidding within 10 seconds every single one of those kids were in there excited as can be singing away with the music! Of course we had to get it on video!

This is my mom coming in the front door. I think we actually pulled of the "surprise" part! You'll have to turn your head... You'd think I'd remember that it doesn't work the same if you turn the camera sideways...

The Casino down the way was having their 15th Anniversary and were letting huge fireworks off. They were the best I've ever seen! It was so fun to see them and 2 nights in a row!

The kids buried Uncle Pacer and made him into a mermaid.

Then it was their cousins turn!

These are some of the pictures that I took from off of our back porch.

On Sunday Joe's cousin came over and took Family pictures for us!

I love the grandma and grandpa with the grand kids pictures!!!

My dad went up on the top deck and threw over a bucket of cold water... I love your face Vic! :) I'm not really sure what Pacer is doing? Maybe looking for that raccoon?

After the Beach we headed up to Washington to visit Joe's parents. The kids just had to do s'mores again with Grandpa! That was the first thing Eliza asked about when we got there!

We had so much fun!
