Eliza's Poem

The kids are starting to bring home all their stuff from the school year and Eliza brought home a poem book that they put together.  This is one of her poems:

If I Were In Charge of the World

My Name is Eliza.
If I were in charge of the world,
I'd cancel Walmart, and Walgreens, and snow.
If I were in charge of the world,
There'd be a swimming pool everywhere,
And they would fill the whole place.
If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn't have clouds.
You wouldn't have a big sister.
You wouldn't have snow.
Or light, all you would do is sleep.
If I were in charge of the world,
I would have oranges and I would eat them!

She dedicated the book to Aunt Gayle and said she is fun and nice.  :)

This makes me laugh. I love how kids minds think. I am sure that I can say that now but in a few day or weeks or even hours something will happen where I will be dieing from embarrassment. :)
