♥ Oh Fudge...

Yeah it was supposed to be fudge! It's more like Carmel. It tastes great though just yeah more like Carmel. So where did I go wrong? Fill me in! Or maybe I'm just not meant to make FUDGE!!!

Here's the recipe... So what did I do??? Not boil it long enough or too long?

4 squares chocolate or 3 TBS cocoa

1 C cold canned milk

4 C sugar

2/3 C brown sugar

4 TBS butter

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup nuts (opt)


Add all ingredients except vanilla. Cook slowly, stirring occasionally. Cook until forms a soft ball in cold water. (About 5 minutes after it reaches the boiling point.)


Remove from heat, add vanilla and beat until it begins to granulate. Pour at once into a 8x8 buttered pan. Cool and cut into squares.

Sorry it didn't turn out. the best fudge recipe I've found is on the marshmellow creme. I have an excellent rocky road fudge recipe I'll email it too you.

I'm a caramel lover so that looks good to me. I'd eat it out of the pan. But doesn't work so good if you planned on giving it to the neighbors. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I'm not sure where you went wrong. But i'll tell you the recipe I always use is on the back of the marshmellow creme jar and it always turns out perfect.
